Job Description

Job Title: Netra Sathi Coordinator

Organization: Care Netra LLP

Location: Field-based / Community-level (as assigned)

Department: Operations / Community Outreach

Age : 35 to 45 years

Salary : 15k to 20k

Job Purpose

The Netra Sathi Coordinator is responsible for coordinating community-level eye care activities, supporting Netra Sathi workers, and ensuring smooth execution of vision screening, awareness programs, and patient referrals.

Qualifications

Minimum Graduate (Social Work, Health Sciences, or related field preferred)

Prior experience in NGO, healthcare, or community outreach roles is an advantage

Willingness to travel locally as per program needs

Key Responsibilities

*Coordinate and support Netra Sathi (community eye care volunteers) in assigned areas

*Plan and organize eye screening camps, awareness sessions, and outreach programs

*Maintain daily reports, beneficiary data, and program documentation

*Guide patients on referrals, follow-ups, and treatment processes

*Act as a link between field staff, hospitals, and the central team

*Ensure proper use of screening tools and compliance with protocols

*Track targets, monitor performance, and submit weekly/monthly reports

*Address community queries and support grievance resolution related to eye care services

*Assist in training and onboarding of new Netra Sathi members

Required Skills & Competencies

*Strong communication and coordination skills

*Basic knowledge of healthcare or community programs (eye care preferred)

*Ability to work independently in field/community settings

*Good record-keeping and reporting skills

*Empathy, patience, and commitment to social service

*Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, mobile apps, data entry)
