Founded in Belgium in 1989 by Mr. Surendra Borad Patawari (Momasar), Gemini is one of worlds largest circular economy market makers, engaged in collection, recycling, segregation, sourcing & distribution of recyclable plastics, paper, metals, and rubber.

With a team of 400+ people, it manages recycling of over million tonnes of materials from 35 offices in 28 countries every year. We give second life to over 400,000 tonnes of plastics, 50 million tyres, 1 billion PET Bottles, 300,000 cars and million refrigerators every year.

Gemini is on the Board of Directors of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) together with the Global CEOs of Procter & Gamble, Dow, BASF, Lyondell Basel, and ExxonMobil Chemical.

Gemini is a member of the Ellen Macarthur Foundation, Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) and Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation.

Our chairman is a recipient of the CA Global Business Leader Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, IERC Honorary Award 2020, USA Presidents E award and the Global Recycler of the Year by the Materials Recycling Association of India. Recently Gemini was honoured with the Sustainability award by the World Economic Forum, Davos where the Chairman is a speaker as well.

To achieve their goal to share with society, Gemini has adopted 11 Indian villages for their medical needs, built, and operates two schools for 400 students and planted & maintaining over 100,000 trees.
