PERFORMANCE EVALUATION & RECOGNITION
Support HOD in assessing lighting team performance as per the annual plan.
Support HOD in defining specific individual goals for each Lighting team member.
Assist HOD with salary increments and promotions based on annual evaluations.
PLANNING
Attend scheduled event office meetings regularly.
Support HOD in identifying, assessing, and improving internal processes.
Support HOD in developing strategies to identify new revenue streams.
Ensure successful event planning, client interaction, and event execution.
Ensure a safe, healthy work environment and compliance with all policies.
Familiarize with set layouts and event flow before arriving at the venue.
Support HOD in creating lighting plots based on client specifications and prepare the necessary light fittings and effects for the event.
Support HOD in efficiently planning multiple events simultaneously.
Support HOD in distributing inventory for multiple events.
Update the inventory register based on the latest revised element list from management.
Verify inventory against the element list before leaving the workshop for an event.
Monitor externally outsourced equipment, ensuring it's sourced in advance and returned in the same condition.
Ensure team members always have the required company equipment.
Handle equipment preparation, storage, and transportation to event venues.
Assist with loading inventory according to management guidelines.
Ensure event setup meets client deadlines.
COMMUNICATIONS
Contribute ideas and suggestions to help achieve the goal.
Support the HOD in training and assisting team members.
Communicate accurate event schedule with the Lighting team in advance.
Coordinate with the HOD and external Light engineer during the project.
Ensure smooth event execution through effective team management and thorough briefings.
Conduct pre-setup briefing and communicate client requirements to the team.
Support the HOD in communicating vital event planning and execution details with internal departments.
Notify the HOD of inventory unavailability due to maintenance or repair issues that may delay event planning.
Ability to clearly communicate HOD-requested changes and adjustments.
Ability to assess Senior lighting technician's skills and delegate tasks effectively.
REVENUE MANAGEMENT
Support the HOD in maximising revenue by pursuing potential event leads.
Manage outgoing event expenses, accurately calculate costs, and handle funds efficiently.
Follow SOPs for inventory outsourcing to maximize profit and minimize costs.
Support the HOD in managing events within the allotted budget
Assist with invoicing by ensuring all deliverables and additions are accurately recorded.
EXECUTION
Ensure onsite compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Ensure excellent delivery and outstanding customer service.
Be punctual for all setups and support the HOD in troubleshooting issues.
Be flexible and able to multitask during events.
Ensure efficient rigging and safe concealment of all cables and wires.
Support the HOD in conducting pre-dry run checks to prevent technical glitches.
Monitor lighting equipment performance to detect quality issues, deviations, or malfunctions.
Maintain a professional image and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Provide support to Video & Audio departments as needed.
POST-EVENT
Ensure efficient dismantling and safe transport of event setup to designated storage.
Assist with equipment loading and unloading as needed.
Evaluate event performance and identify flaws.
Crosscheck all equipment with the master inventory list post-event to prevent losses.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
Ensure accuracy and integrity of the inventory management system.
Conduct regular maintenance of lighting equipment and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Carrying out servicing and repair of lighting equipment only at authorized centers.
Ensure timely follow-ups with service centers on equipment servicing, costs, and delivery timelines.
Report equipment damage, malfunction, or shortages to the HOD.
PURCHASES
Identify and implement strategies to improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist the HOD in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers for optimal quality, price, delivery, and service.
Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
Ensure timely and budget-friendly purchase and delivery of items.
Monitor order status and verify deliveries against orders.
Ensure all purchase invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
DRY HIRE
Ensure equipment is ready and available for dry hire when needed.
Track and manage all incoming and outgoing inventory as per company procedures.
Follow up on equipment held by clients until received.
Verify returned hire equipment against dry hire voucher for quantity, condition, and model.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain regular attendance and be punctual for work, sites, and meetings.
Wear full uniform and carry company-provided tool kits at all times on site.
Follow all company instructions, rules, and regulations at all times.
