Location - Thane (Kapurbawdi)

Salary - Rs 2 to 3 lakhs pa

2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays off

Products - Static process equipment like heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, storage tanks etc

REQUIRED

Diploma/ Degree Engg in Chem/ Mech or BSc -Physics etc

Min 2 years experience in design, estimation, proposals or tenders - PREFERABLY IN SIMILAR PROCESS EQUIPMENT COS.

Good understanding of and ability to read engg drawings (AutoCAD)

Understanding of project/ product/ manufacturing costing

Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized spreadsheet programs

MAIN RESPPONSIBILITIES:

Study the scope of work & tender document and prepare the tender review sheet

Prepare/review the basic design, create the estimation BOQ

Prepare & send out RFQ for (materials, vendors & subcontractors), follow-up, prepare technical evaluation sheet,

Prepare quotation comparison sheet

Calculate the direct cost for each item by analyzing the item to its basics

Calculate/assist in the calculation of other costs

Participate in Cost Variance analysis and invoices.

Assist in preparing responses to clarification requests by the client regarding the submitted tender

Follow up of venders & clients regarding inquiry & quotations
