Engineering Lead - Full Time

Assist the Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating and controlling engineering activities across multiple projects.

Lead coordination of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and manage interfaces between disciplines.

Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submissions, method statements and project requirements.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities within EPC/EPCM projects.

Monitor schedules, engineering deliverables, construction progress, manpower requirements and critical technical issues.

Identify delays, clashes and execution risks and develop practical recovery or corrective action plans.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Planning, Procurement, Cost Control, QA/QC and HSE teams.

Provide technical support for design changes, field issues and urgent construction requirements.

Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, safety and quality requirements.

Prepare progress updates, technical reports and action lists for Engineering Manager / Project Director / Management.

Practical experience in several of the following is preferred:

Residential and commercial buildings; industrial buildings, warehouses and workshops.

Heavy structural steel fabrication and erection; turnkey industrial and infrastructure projects.

Belt conveyor systems and material handling structures.

Bridges, hauling roads, access roads, drainage and project infrastructure.

Steel or concrete tanks, tank foundations and associated piping/structural interfaces.

Jetty, marine-access and waterfront infrastructure works.

Equipment foundations, platforms, pipe racks, industrial support structures and mechanical equipment installation.

Supervise civil and structural engineering from site preparation and foundations through completion and handover.

Review architectural, civil and structural drawings and coordinate constructability with mechanical and electrical requirements.

Monitor reinforced concrete, structural steel, building, road, bridge, tank-foundation and jetty-related works.

Resolve discrepancies between design and field conditions and ensure correct implementation at site.

Coordinate material requirements, work fronts, inspections, sequencing and as-built documentation.

Coordinate Mechanical Engineers for heavy fabrication, structural erection, conveyors, equipment installation, tanks, platforms and

industrial mechanical works.

Coordinate Electrical Engineers for project power, equipment interfaces, cable routing, panels and electrical installation requirements.

Resolve Civil-Mechanical-Electrical clashes and maintain multidisciplinary coordination through commissioning and handover.

Understand the full lifecycle: engineering, planning, procurement support, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Ensure engineering deliverables support procurement and site execution schedules.

Monitor project progress and identify technical or construction constraints affecting schedule, cost or quality.

Support technical decision-making, value engineering and practical site solutions; maintain action follow-up to closure.
