Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or needed adjustments.

Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure systems are compliant with safety regulations.

Replace or repair wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

Maintain records of repairs and replacements for equipment and systems.

Collaborate with engineers or other technicians when complex problems arise.

Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role.

Good knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures.

Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of PLC, VFD, and control panels (optional).

Understanding of industrial electrical systems (for manufacturing/plant roles).

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Working Conditions:

May require working in shifts or on-call support.

Physically fit to climb ladders, lift tools/equipment, and work in confined spaces.
