Role & Responsibilities

Shift Supervision:

Supervise and lead the electrical team during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, motors, and control systems within the sponge iron manufacturing unit.

Troubleshooting:

Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of electrical systems to identify and rectify faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.

Preventive Maintenance:

Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety procedures and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety among the electrical team. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.

Coordination with Other Departments:

Collaborate with mechanical, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication for effective production processes.

Emergency Response:

Lead the electrical team in responding to emergency situations, including power outages, equipment failures, and other critical incidents. Implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports. Prepare shift reports detailing activities and issues.

Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions for the electrical team to enhance technical skills and ensure a high level of competency. Stay updated on industry advancements and share knowledge with the team.

Energy Efficiency:

Implement measures to enhance energy efficiency, reduce power consume
