role & responsibilities

shift supervision:

supervise and lead the electrical team during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.

equipment operation and maintenance:

oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, motors, and control systems within the sponge iron manufacturing unit.

troubleshooting:

conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of electrical systems to identify and rectify faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.

preventive maintenance:

implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

safety compliance:

enforce safety procedures and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety among the electrical team. conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.

coordination with other departments:

collaborate with mechanical, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication for effective production processes.

emergency response:

lead the electrical team in responding to emergency situations, including power outages, equipment failures, and other critical incidents. implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

documentation:

maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports. prepare shift reports detailing activities and issues.

training and development:

conduct training sessions for the electrical team to enhance technical skills and ensure a high level of competency. stay updated on industry advancements and share knowledge with the team.

energy efficiency:

implement measures to enhance energy efficiency, reduce power consume
