Job description

Growing MEP Engineering firm in midtown Manhattan is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience. Excellent position for an energetic, self-motivated candidate that can lead to career growth and engineering team leadership. Engineering Degree Required. PE License not required. The candidate must have a proven track record of:

Being production-oriented and able to meet deadlines

Being accurate and fast

Being experienced in producing Electrical and Fire Alarm designs and specifications independently

Being able to work well with architects and contractors

Being familiar with NYC Building Code

Being experienced in responding to RFIs

Being experienced in reviewing shop drawings

Having experience interfacing with Con Ed, new utility service designs

Having experience designing low voltage systems

Having experience designing Emergency Generators, ATS

Being able to use CAD with xrefs quickly and efficiently

Being experienced in performing building surveys

Revit experience is a plus
