Electrical Design Engineer (4-6 Years)

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Schematics & Layouts: Design detailed electrical circuit diagrams, power distribution layouts, cable schedules, and control panel wiring diagrams using CAD software.

Component Selection & BOM: Select appropriate electrical components (PLCs, VFDs, contactors, circuit breakers, relays, sensors, and transformers) and prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).

Control System Integration: Coordinate with automation and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of PLC/HMI architectures with electrical hardware.

Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international electrical safety standards (such as IS, IEC, UL, or CE).

Testing & Commissioning Support: Assist production, panel shop floor, and testing teams during panel wiring, loop testing, quality checks, and site commissioning.

Value Engineering & Optimization: Optimize panel designs to improve footprint, reduce thermal output, minimize costs, and simplify shop-floor assembly.

Documentation: Maintain complete design documentation, engineering change notices (ECN), operational manuals, and project file archives.
