**key responsibilities: **

- provide individual and group counseling sessions to students on academic, personal, and career-related issues.

- assist students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and stress management techniques.

- conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.

- develop and implement intervention plans to support students' academic and personal growth.

- collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

- facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as college preparation, career exploration, and mental health awareness.

- maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.

- stay current with best practices and developments in the field of counseling and education.

**qualifications: **

- master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

- valid counseling license or certification.

- 2-4 years of experience in a counseling role, preferably in an educational setting.

- strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- ability to build rapport and establish trust with students.
