Computer Hardware Engineer

Primary Responsibility:

1. Hardware Design and Development:

Design and develop computer hardware components, including motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, memory modules, and peripheral devices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware specifications and requirements for new products.

Conduct feasibility studies and prototype development to assess hardware design concepts.

2. Component Selection and Testing:

Evaluate and select appropriate hardware components based on performance, cost, and compatibility.

Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware components to ensure reliability and adherence to specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues and defects.

3. System Integration:

Integrate hardware components into complete computer systems and ensure seamless operation.

Work with software engineers to ensure hardware-software compatibility and optimization.

Develop and maintain documentation for hardware configurations and system assembly processes.

4. Performance Optimization:

Identify opportunities for hardware performance improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Conduct bench marking and performance testing to optimize system performance.

Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and trends to incorporate into product design.

5. Quality Assurance:

Establish and implement quality control processes to maintain high-quality hardware products.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

6. Hardware Maintenance and Support:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve hardware-related customer issues.

Develop maintenance procedures and perform routine hardware maintenance activities.

Participate in the design of hardware upgrades and revisions.

7. Research and Development:
