Senior Computer Hardware Engineer - Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Installation and Maintenance

 Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripheral devices, and

electronic systems.

 Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers,

servers, and related equipment.

 Ensure proper hardware performance, upgrades, and replacements as required.

 Manage hardware inventory, spare parts, and asset tracking processes.

Testing and Troubleshooting

 Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues and system failures eƯiciently.

 Conduct detailed hardware testing, system diagnostics, and root cause analysis.

 Use advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment for troubleshooting.

 Ensure timely resolution of hardware-related incidents and minimize downtime.

Technical Support

 Provide advanced technical support for hardware and system-related issues.

 Support end-users with hardware configurations, software installations, and

technical guidance.

 Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs and warranty-related

matters.

 Mentor and guide trainee and junior hardware engineers.

Documentation and Reporting

 Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, maintenance activities, and

technical documentation.

 Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting

documentation.

 Develop and update standard operating procedures for hardware support and

maintenance.

Safety and Compliance

 Ensure compliance with safety standards, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)

precautions, and organizational policies.

 Maintain a safe and organized work environment while handling hardware

components and tools.

 Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical best practices.

Process Improvement and Learning

 Recommend improvements in hardware processes, maintenance practices, and

system reliability.

 Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies, tools, and industry trends.

 Participate in technical training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
