job summary

we are seeking a skilled cnc programmer with hands-on experience in siemens controls (808d) to join our engineering team. the role involves creating and optimizing cnc programs for precision machining components using turning centers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality.

key responsibilities

develop and edit cnc programs using siemens g-code

interpret engineering drawings and 3d models

set up cnc machines and define tool paths, work offsets

perform trial runs and optimize cycle times

collaborate with production and quality teams

maintain tool lists, documentation, and process sheets

requirements

experience with siemens-controlled cnc machines (turning)

strong knowledge of g-code, machining principles, and tooling

ability to read technical drawings (gd&t knowledge preferred)

familiarity with cad/cam software is a plus

good problem-solving and communication skills
