ABOUT THE ROLE
The Czech Republic is a major hub for precision engineering and automotive manufacturing in Central Europe. We are recruiting qualified CNC Machine Operators for a renowned engineering firm in Prague. This role demands technical skill, accuracy, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Candidates with ITI or Diploma in Machining/Fitting will be given strong preference.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Setting up, programming and operating CNC milling, turning and grinding machines
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings, blueprints and CAD files
• Performing first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Adjusting machine parameters to correct dimensional deviations during production
• Carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance and lubrication of CNC equipment
• Maintaining accurate production records including job cards and inspection reports
• Reporting machine faults, tool breakages or abnormal vibrations to maintenance team
• Adhering to ISO quality standards and Czech industrial safety norms
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter trade) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC machine operating experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with G-code and M-code CNC programming preferred
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, CMM)
• Basic English communication (A2-B1 level)
• Willing to learn basic Czech for day-to-day workplace communication
• Age between 22 and 45 years; physically and visually fit for precision work
