Maintenance Civil Engineer - Full Time

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Tech Park

Location: Whitefield (Shailendra Teck Park)

Reports to: Facility Manager / Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Shailendra Teck Park. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tech park's facilities, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Repairs:

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)

- Identify and resolve issues with infrastructure, equipment, and facilities

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs

2. Preventive Maintenance:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and systems

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning optimally

3. Emergency Response:

- Respond to emergency situations (power outages, water leaks, etc.) and take corrective actions

- Minimize downtime and ensure safety of occupants

4. Compliance & Safety:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and standards

- Conduct safety checks and risk assessments

5. Collaboration:

- Work with facility management team, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations

- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff

Requirements:

- Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field

- 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance / facilities management

- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards

- Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

- Experience in tech parks / commercial buildings

- Certification in facility management (IFMA, etc.)
