Job Description

A Senior Civil Engineer for residential and commercial projects leads technical

design, project planning, and on-site execution, ensuring compliance with building

codes, budgets, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include site supervision,

structural design reviews, contractor coordination, and mentoring junior engineers,

with 12 -15+ years of experience in real estate construction typically required.

Key Job Responsibilities

∙Project Management: Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and

execution from conception to completion.

∙Design & Engineering: Review and develop technical building plans,

structural designs, and drawings for high-rise residential and commercial

buildings.

∙Site Supervision & Execution: Supervise on-site teams, manage

subcontractors, and ensure construction aligns with designs and quality

standards.

∙Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with legal regulations, municipal

codes, and health and safety standards.

∙Resource & Quality Management: Oversee material procurement, site

inventory, and cost control (estimation and rate analysis).

∙Coordination: Act as a liaison between architects, consultants, contractors,

and clients.
