Civil Engineer (6-12 Years)

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, and supervision of major commercial construction projects including airports, bus terminals, and other large public infrastructure. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

Lead and manage civil construction activities for large commercial projects such as airports, terminals, and transport infrastructure

Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workforce

Ensure construction is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules

Monitor progress, productivity, and resource utilization

Design & Technical Coordination

Review structural, architectural, and MEP drawings and resolve design-related issues

Coordinate with consultants, architects, and authorities for technical approvals

Ensure proper implementation of design changes and value engineering proposals

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications

Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Conduct inspections, audits, and site quality checks

Planning & Cost Control

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking

Monitor quantities, measurements, and material consumption

Support cost control, billing, and certification of subcontractor work

Skills & Competencies

Excellent project management and leadership skills

Strong understanding of structural, finishing, and infrastructure works

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and MS Office

Knowledge of contract administration and BOQs
