Face-to-Face For Civil Draftsman Jobs (Freshers)

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Blueprint Creation: Prepare detailed drawings, layout plans, elevations, sections, and structural designs for civil projects (such as buildings, roads, drainage systems, or industrial foundations).

Software Execution: Utilize advanced computer-aided design software (primarily AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D) to develop, modify, and finalize architectural and engineering layouts.

Data Translation: Interpret land survey data, topological maps, and architectural sketches to incorporate accurate dimensions, materials, and structural details into drawings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Civil Engineers and Site Supervisors to revise drawings based on site realities, structural calculations, or design changes.

BOM & Estimation Support: Assist in preparing the Bill of Materials (BOM) and quantity estimations by calculating material volumes and dimensions directly from blueprints.

Compliance & Archiving: Ensure all drawings adhere strictly to local municipal building codes, industrial safety regulations, and company drafting standards; maintain a highly organized digital archive of all drawing revisions.
