Casualty Medical Officer - Thane West

The Casualty Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at a hospital provides immediate medical care to patients in the emergency department. Responsibilities include assessing patients upon arrival, diagnosing conditions, initiating urgent treatment, and performing minor procedures when necessary. They work closely with nursing staff and senior physicians to stabilize patients, arrange diagnostic tests, and prepare for further treatment or admission. The Casualty RMO maintains accurate medical records, monitors patient progress, and communicates effectively with families.
