Responsibilities:
Patient Communication: Respond to incoming calls and enquiries from patients promptly and professionally. Provide accurate and relevant information about the clinic's services, appointment availability, and general medical inquiries.
Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage the appointment booking system, ensuring proper allocation of time slots and updating the doctor's schedule accordingly. Remind patients of upcoming appointments and handle rescheduling when necessary.
Priority Calls: Assess the urgency of patient calls and direct urgent matters to the doctor promptly. Demonstrate sound judgment in handling emergencies and prioritizing patient needs.
Maintain Patient Records: Record all relevant patient details, enquiries, and interactions in the electronic medical records system with accuracy and confidentiality.
Follow-up: Contact patients for follow-up appointments or to provide necessary medical information as instructed by the doctor.
Provide Basic Medical Information: Offer general medical advice to patients as per established protocols or guidelines provided by the doctor. Refer complex medical questions to the doctor.
Customer Service: Exhibit empathy, compassion, and exceptional customer service while interacting with patients, ensuring they feel supported and cared for.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a medical setting.
