A Cabin Crew member is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers throughout the flight. The role involves conducting safety demonstrations, assisting passengers during boarding and disembarkation, providing excellent customer service, serving meals and beverages, responding to medical or emergency situations, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations.
Cabin Crew members represent the airline's brand and are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, grooming, communication, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Passenger Safety
Conduct pre-flight safety inspections of the aircraft cabin.
Check emergency equipment before every flight.
Ensure safety equipment is functional and accessible.
Verify emergency exits remain unobstructed.
Demonstrate safety procedures before takeoff.
Ensure passengers comply with safety regulations.
Monitor cabin security throughout the flight.
Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Administer first aid when required.
Coordinate emergency evacuation if necessary.
2. Passenger Service
Welcome passengers professionally.
Assist passengers during boarding.
Help passengers locate assigned seats.
Assist with cabin baggage storage.
Provide assistance to elderly passengers, children, and passengers with disabilities.
Offer special assistance to pregnant passengers.
Resolve passenger concerns courteously.
Maintain a positive travel experience.
3. Food & Beverage Service
Prepare meal carts.
Serve meals and refreshments.
Offer beverages according to airline service standards.
Handle special meal requests.
Monitor passenger dietary requirements.
Maintain food hygiene standards.
Collect used trays after meal service.
Manage onboard inventory.
4. Cabin Management
Ensure cabin cleanliness.
Monitor lavatory cleanliness.
Maintain cabin temperature and lighting.
Secure cabin before takeoff and landing.
Conduct regular cabin checks.
Assist passengers during turbulence.
Ensure seat belts are fastened when required.
5. Emergency Responsibilities
Respond to fire emergencies.
Handle decompression situations.
Manage medical emergencies.
Perform CPR if trained.
Use emergency equipment correctly.
Guide passengers during emergency landings.
Manage security threats.
Coordinate with cockpit crew during emergencies.
6. Documentation
Complete flight reports.
Record onboard incidents.
Prepare inventory reports.
Report passenger complaints.
Submit lost-and-found reports.
Record medical incidents.
Maintain accurate service records.
7. Customer Care
Handle customer complaints professionally.
Resolve service issues promptly.
Provide information regarding flight schedules.

8. Teamwork
Coordinate with pilots.

Required Qualifications
Educational Qualification
10+2 (Higher Secondary) minimum.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred.
