Job Description & Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber candidate with strong capabilities in business strategy development, market
assessment, market research and policy analysis to support clients in developing actionable and data-driven
strategic plans. The role involves close collaboration with Strategy Consulting teams across Japan, Singapore, and
Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.), primarily in a remote working model.
The candidate will contribute to insight generation, problem structuring, and executive-ready deliverables
that directly influence client business priorities and long-term strategy. Prior experience in secondary
research, database-driven analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder-ready presentations (in English and/or
Japanese) will be advantageous.
Growth Strategy
You will be a part of the Growth strategy team. The team manages a wide range of client engagements that pertain
to ASEAN, India, and other Asia Pacific countries. Our consulting projects include:
Market entry strategy, Market assessment and new business incubation
Corporate and business unit strategy development
Business due diligence and investment evaluation
Corporate governance advisory

What You& Do
Core Responsibilities (Major Cases)
• Structure ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to generate actionable insights and strategic
recommendations
• Synthesize findings into client-ready deliverables (presentations, reports)
• Present insights to internal teams and client stakeholders
• Own and deliver specific workstreams across consulting engagements, ensuring alignment with
overall project hypotheses and client objectives
Supporting Responsibilities (Minor Cases)
• Support Business Due Diligence (BDD) by conducting commercial assessments, market sizing,
competitive benchmarking, and identifying key value drivers and risks)
• Contribute to Post-Merger Integration (PMI) and value creation initiatives, including development
of 100-day plans, synergy identification, and implementation roadmaps
• Define and track KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor post-investment performance and
strategic initiative outcomes
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (strategy, operations, finance) to ensure effective
execution of strategic initiatives
Qualifications Required:
Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed institution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities with hypothesis-driven research skills
Self-motivated & independent
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Business level Japanese language proficiency (N2 and above) is mandatory
Preferred:
Consulting background / Market Research experience preferred
Other language capabilities (business level) are an advantage
