about us: gema is a dynamic organization passionate about nurturing young talent. we organize prestigious online and offline competitions—including painting, story writing, speech, and spell bee—for school students from grades 1 to 12. our mission is to provide a platform for students to showcase their skills and gain confidence beyond the classroom.

the role:we are looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join us as business development managers. you will be the face of our company, responsible for building relationships with schools in your city, promoting our competitions, and motivating them to encourage maximum student participation. this is a field-intensive role where your performance directly impacts our success and your earnings.

key responsibilities:

proactively identify and visit schools within your assigned zone to meet with principals, vice-principals, and activity coordinators.

effectively present and communicate the benefits and details of our various competitions.

build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with school authorities.

achieve and exceed monthly targets for school onboarding and student entries.

conduct follow-ups via phone, email, and in-person visits.

provide daily reports on activities and outcomes.

who we are looking for (requirements):

must own a scooty, bike, or personal vehicle for daily travel.

excellent command of spoken and written english and the local language. a compelling personality is key!

self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently from home/field.

strong interpersonal and persuasion skills. you should enjoy meeting new people.

minimum educational qualification: graduate.

prior experience in field sales, b2b marketing, or educational services is a plus, but freshers with the right attitude are welcome to apply.

fixed component (base salary): ₹10,000 - ₹15,000/month, depending on the city and experience.

variable component (performance incentive): this is the key motivator. it is directly tied to the number of student entries secured.

incentive pyramid model (example):

tier 1 (base target): achieve 500 entries in a month → incentive of ₹10 per entry = ₹5,000

tier 2 (stretch target): achieve 750 entries in a month → incentive of ₹12 per entry for all entries = ₹9,000

tier 3 (super target): achieve 1000+ entries in a month → incentive of ₹15 per entry for all entries + a bonus of ₹2,000 = ₹17,000
