Business Development Internship - Internship - Freshers

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Intern to join our team. The intern will play a key role in generating leads, connecting with students/parents, and supporting the counselling and admissions process for programs like Engineering, Medical, Management, and other courses.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and generate leads through online platforms, databases, and referrals

Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents

Explain services related to UG/PG admissions (Engineering, Medical, etc.)

Qualify leads and schedule counselling sessions with senior counsellors

Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates

Update and manage lead data in CRM or internal systems

Assist in planning and executing marketing and outreach campaigns

Conduct market research on competitors and admission trends

Support the sales team in achieving monthly targets

Prepare daily reports on calls, leads, and conversions

Required Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of sales and business development

Confidence in speaking over calls

Ability to handle objections and convince prospects

Good organizational and time management skills

Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets

Eligibility Criteria:

Currently pursuing or recently completed graduation (any stream)

Interest in sales, marketing, or education counselling

Prior internship experience (preferred but not mandatory)
