Job Description

core responsibilities

1. opportunity identification & lead generation

market research: conduct in-depth research to identify new target markets, potential clients, and emerging industry trends that align with the company's growth strategy.

lead qualification: use marketing data, crm reports, and direct outreach to qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring they meet specific criteria before passing them to the sales team.

outreach strategy: develop and execute tailored outreach campaigns (email sequences, linkedin networking, cold calling) to initiate contact with key decision-makers in target organizations.

2. strategy & collaboration

marketing-sales alignment (smarketing): act as the key liaison between the marketing and sales teams, ensuring that marketing campaigns produce high-quality leads that support sales objectives.

pipeline management: track and monitor the entire lead lifecycle, from initial contact through qualification, using the crm system to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

content input: provide critical market feedback to the content and product marketing teams regarding customer pain points and objections, helping to shape effective marketing materials and sales enablement tools.

3. relationship building & pitching

initial engagement: build and nurture strong, professional relationships with potential clients during the early stages of the sales process.

presentation skills: prepare and deliver compelling introductory presentations or pitches that clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products/services.

networking: represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and online forums to generate new leads and expand the professional network.
