job summary
the business development executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with corporate clients, and driving sales for exhibition stall design and fabrication services. the role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with an understanding of the exhibitions/events industry.
key responsibilities
identify and generate new business leads through networking, email campaigns, and online platforms (linkedin, exhibition directories, etc.).
research industry trends, exhibitions, and upcoming trade shows across different sectors.
pitch and present the company’s design, fabrication, and event services to potential clients.
coordinate with the design and production teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and project presentations.
follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close sales.
build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and agencies.
manage client accounts pre- and post-event to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
attend exhibitions and industry networking events to represent the company and generate leads.
required skills & qualifications
strong understanding of exhibition design, stall fabrication, or event marketing services.
excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
ability to develop client relationships and maintain a sales pipeline.
proficiency in ms office (word, excel, powerpoint) and crm tools.
self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
willingness to travel for client meetings and exhibitions.
