Senior Developer BMC Remedy

qualification : degree in computer science or it background

experience : 8 – 10 years domain experience (design, development & admin)

location: riyadh, intial.- 3 months on-site then off shore,

roles and responsibilities

• must have customization experience in ars and later.

• should have hands-on implementation experience on ars - , bmc remedy helix , atrium cmdb , itsm, srm, sla, smart it, dwp, email engine

• expertise in implementing bmc remedy change management, incident management, problem management etc.

• expertise in deploying bmc remedy asset management

• knowledge of bmc remedy service level agreements

• good knowledge of remedy adapters & experience in integration of remedy with other applications using web services, rest api, aie

• experience in design and implementation of bmc itsm solutions for complex setup

• should have good understanding of bmc remedy architecture and its components.

• good understanding on common data model of bmc atrium cmdb

• must have experience in cmdb

• experience in building telco cmdb

• must be able to troubleshoot application logs (sql, api, filter, active links etc.) and provide solutions.

• strong familiarity with supporting remedy applications including oracle, web services xml and remedy api.

• expert in designing and setting up exception handling, performance tuning & archiving.

• must have strong knowledge of relational databases (oracle), pl/sql, db links, views etc.

• investigating and implementing application customization.

• must have hands-on knowledge in remedy installation and configuration in a server group environment.

• must have hands-on knowledge with linux commands (shell scripts etc.)

• hands-on expertise with upgrading remedy ar server and remedy mid-tier server with the latest patches.

• must have hands-on experience with sso, rsso and ldap plugins for remedy.
