A Blowing Operator (or Blow Molding Machine Operator) runs and maintains machinery to produce hollow plastic products like bottles and jerrycans, ensuring high-quality output. They set up molds, monitor production, perform troubleshooting, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and operate blow molding machines, including changing molds and tools.

Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency, monitor temperatures, pressure, and timing, and minimize downtime.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products visually for defects (weight, dimensions, finish) to ensure they meet specifications.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating, and troubleshoot minor mechanical or process problems.

Documentation: Record production data, material usage, and maintenance logs.

Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work area, following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety guidelines (., GMP).
