Job Description:
As an Assistant Export Manager, you will play a key role in driving our international sales and marketing efforts, with a focus on identifying and reaching customers in various countries. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers in different countries.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and regulatory requirements to develop effective export strategies.
- Collaborate with the management team to set sales targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
2. Customer Identification and Outreach:
- Identify and prospect potential customers internationally through various channels, including online platforms, trade directories, and industry associations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target markets to generate leads and opportunities
- Develop marketing collateral and presentations to showcase our products and services to prospective clients.
3. Export Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements for each target country.
- Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to facilitate the smooth handling and delivery of export orders.
- Stay updated on changes in export laws and regulations in different countries and advise the management team accordingly.
4. Sales and Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations with international customers to secure sales contracts and agreements.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
- Track sales performance and report on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requirements in a timely and professional manner.
