Responsibilities
ï‚· Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target
audience and objectives
 Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
ï‚· Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
ï‚· Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
ï‚· Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, waiters etc.)
ï‚· Coordinate all operations
ï‚· Lead promotional activities for the event
ï‚· Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
ï‚· Approve all aspects before the day of the event
ï‚· Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any
problems that might occur
 Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
Requirements and skills
ï‚· Proven experience as event manager/Event Coordinator
ï‚· Skilled in project management
ï‚· Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event
management
ï‚· Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
ï‚· Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
ï‚· Excellent organizational skills
ï‚· A knack for problem-solving
ï‚· Customer-service orientation
ï‚· A team player with leadership skills
ï‚· BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field
