Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Automation Sales Location: Madhya Pradesh (Extensive Travel Required) Experience: 3-5 Years Industry Preference: Drip Irrigation / Agriculture / Automation Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related field; MBA / ABM preferred
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive automation sales across Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the drip irrigation industry, a deep understanding of horticulture crops, and a proven ability to manage distributor networks while ensuring healthy cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
•
Drive sales of automation products across the assigned territory in Madhya Pradesh
•
Develop and manage a strong distributor and dealer network across the state
•
Ensure achievement of sales targets and business growth objectives
•
Maintain and improve cash flow by effective collection management
•
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
•
Provide technical and product guidance to channel partners and customers
•
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
•
Conduct field visits and travel extensively within the state
Key Requirements
•
4-5 years of experience in drip irrigation / agriculture / automation industry
•
Strong knowledge of horticulture crops and regional agricultural practices in Madhya Pradesh
•
Proven track record of managing distributor networks at a state level
•
Experience in handling sales operations with a focus on revenue and collections
•
Willingness to travel extensively across the state

Must own a personal car and hold a valid driving license

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
