A Cargo Executive manages end-to-end air cargo operations, including acceptance, documentation, warehousing, and, coordination with ground handlers/airlines to ensure safe, timely, and compliant shipments. They handle Import/Export, Dangerous Goods (DG), and, verify Air Waybills (AWBs) while adhering to IATA and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics: Supervise cargo loading/unloading, build-up, and breakdown to ensure compliance with, flight schedules and safety standards.
Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process documentation, including Air Waybills, manifests, and customs clearance papers.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all cargo, especially dangerous goods, meets IATA, safety, and security regulations.
Coordination: Act as a liaison between airlines, ground handling teams, and customers to ensure smooth, cargo flow.
Reporting: Monitor, cargo damage/discrepancies and maintain, accurate records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Logistics, Aviation, or Commerce preferred).
Experience: Generally 03 years in air cargo, freight forwarding, or logistics.
Knowledge: Familiarity with IATA rules, customs procedures, and cargo management systems.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, ability to work in high-pressure environments, and basic, computer proficiency.
Physical Stamina: Capability to lift or move heavy goods might be required in, warehouse settings.
