Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Advocate with strong expertise in civil matters, particularly real estate, revenue land, and property-related laws. The candidate should be capable of independently handling legal documentation, scrutiny, registrations, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Handle civil and property-related legal matters, with special focus on:
Real estate transactions
Revenue land matters
Title verification and ownership issues
Document Scrutiny & Due Diligence
Scrutinize property-related documents (sale deed, title deed, EC, patta, RTC, khata, etc.)
Identify legal risks and discrepancies
Prepare document scrutiny reports and legal opinions
Documentation & Checklist
Prepare detailed checklists for property transactions
Advise on mandatory documents required for different types of transactions
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Registration & Filing
Handle end-to-end registration process
Drafting and reviewing documents
Coordination with Sub-Registrar offices
Filing and follow-up until completion
Manage online and offline filings with relevant authorities
Legal Advisory
Provide legal options and solutions to clients and internal teams
Suggest corrective measures for title defects or legal issues
Coordination & Follow-ups
Coordinate with:
Internal teams
External legal panels
Government departments (Revenue, Registration, Local Authorities)
Clients and vendors
Follow up for clarifications, approvals, and pending documentation
Online & Offline Research
Retrieve and verify documents through online government portals and physical offices
Stay updated with changes in real estate and civil laws
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Civil Law, Property Law, Revenue Laws
Practical experience in real estate transactions and land records
Ability to understand and interpret complex legal documents
Excellent drafting and communication skills
Strong coordination and follow-up abilities
Familiarity with online government portals and legal databases
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Language skills:
Kannada and English Mandatory
Educational Qualification
/ from a recognized university
Enrollment with the Bar Council (mandatory)
