we are hiring an accountant

job designation: head accountant

experience: 4+ years (preferably retail industry)

qualification: m. com (hons.) or equivalent

we are looking for an experienced head accountant. the ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in accounting. you will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, including general accounting, balance sheet finalization, gst & tds, income tax provisions, e-commerce reconciliation, and export accounting. the selected candidate should have a good understanding of ms office, tally, and other accounting software. additionally, should be proficient in advanced excel.

key responsibilities:

• perform general accounting functions and prepare financial statements.

• prepare and file gst returns.

• tds calculation & file returns.

• finalize balance sheets and prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• ensure compliance with all tax regulations and applicable laws.

• maintain accurately complete financial records- bank and vendor reconciliation.

• well-versed with e-commerce reconciliation to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

• conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• knowledge of export invoicing and related documents to be filed in the bank.

requirements:

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• at least 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the / retail / e-commerce industry

• good knowledge of ms office, tally, and other accounting software

• knowledge of gst & tds and income tax provisions

• e-commerce reconciliation experience is a must.

• proficient in advanced excel (pivot table, v lookup etc)

additionally, should possess good written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and accuracy.
