key responsibilities:

general ledger management: maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. post journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
accounts payable and receivable: manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and collections. ensure timely and accurate billing and payments.
budgeting and forecasting: assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. monitor financial performance and provide insights to help with strategic planning and decision-making.
audit and compliance: support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
financial analysis: analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. prepare reports and recommendations based on analysis to support business decisions.
record keeping: maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation. ensure all records are filed and stored in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
