Accounts Associate

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Associate to join our team at the Chennai office of Seventhsense Technologies ( ). At Seventhsense we are a software product firm building a next-generation AI-powered ERP platform for our customers in the food production and aviation sector.

This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the organisation, including preparing and analysing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements

- Communicate with local regulatory authorities for licenses, filings, and other compliance-related matters

- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

- Maintain accurate and complete financial records

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards. GST, TDS and other tax compliance.

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasting

- Support the management team with financial analysis and decision-making

Qualifications:

- Bachelor-s degree in any discipline (, BBA, BA preferred)

- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil (written and verbal)

- Proficiency with software like Tally and Microsoft Office

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good organizational and multitasking abilities

- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
