accountant (pharma machine manufacturing)
key responsibilities:
erp system management: administer, configure, and maintain the erp system to ensure it accurately captures and processes financial data.
ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with accounting standards.
financial data entry and processing: enter financial transactions, invoices, and expenses into the erp system.
reconcile financial statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
financial reporting: prepare accurate and timely financial statements, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
budgeting and forecasting: collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
accounts payable and receivable: oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
petty cash: handling pettycash
general ledger maintenance: maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
erp entries: update data on erp accounting system
cross-functional collaboration:
collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and inventory management, to optimize erp processes.
provide financial data and insights to support decision-making.
tax compliance: assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state tax regulations (tds filing and return filings)
financial analysis: conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support management in making informed decisions.
audit preparation: prepare documentation and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records and processes are in compliance with auditing standards.
financial process improvement: identify opportunities for process optimization.
