Key Responsibilities:
1. Record financial transactions: The accountant will be responsible for accurately recording all financial transactions in the company's accounting software.
2. Prepare financial statements: The accountant will prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, on a monthly basis.
3. Assist with budgeting: The accountant will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
4. Reconcile accounts: The accountant will reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
5. Assist with audits: The accountant will assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Proficiency in Tally: The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Tally accounting software to effectively record and manage financial transactions.
2. Advanced Excel skills: The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets for financial analysis.
3. Detail-oriented: The candidate must have strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliation.
4. Good communication skills: The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
5. Educational background: The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce ( or ) to demonstrate a solid foundation in accounting principles.
