Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, primarily using accounting software (Tally Prime/ERP).
Taxation & Compliance: Prepare, calculate, and coordinate the timely filing of statutory returns, including GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS/TCS, and Advance Tax computations.
Banking & Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Invoicing & Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (client billing) pipelines, tracking aging reports and coordinating outstanding balance follow-ups.
Payroll Processing: Assist in or manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate deductions for Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Employee State Insurance (ESIC).
Financial Reporting & Auditing: Assist the management and external Chartered Accountants (CAs) in preparing monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting year-end audit closing procedures.
