• finalisation of accounts: scrutinising ledgers, reconcile the accounts if necessary, and prepare the profit & loss and balance sheet. liaisoning with the auditors by providing all the information asked by them and complete the audit.
• statutory compliances: ensuring that all the statutory payments are made on time.
• preparation of mis: preparation of daily reports, monthly flash report and other financial information as and when required.
• liaisoning with banks/financial institutions: monthly submission of stock statements and any information asked by the banker/financial institutions.
• payroll: computation of income tax on salaries and verification of salary workings, computed by hrd before making the payments.
• daily collections/payments: supervise all the activities of the sr. cashier and help him solve the problems, if any. physical verification of cash balances once in two days.
• keeping track of insurance details.
• billing : supervise the activities of billing supervisor and assist them in solving the problems and see that the billing functions smoothly.
• maintenance of accounts relating to sundry creditors and bills payable.
• receipt of bills, grns and other connected paper from material stores, pharmacy stores, f & b, house keeping and linen & transport.
• making necessary entries in accounting software.
• supervision of cheque preparations and initialing of cheque payment vouchers for proper authenticity.
• preparation of necessary papers for getting foreign demand drafts.
• checking cash bills (material, pharmacy, and f & b) and forwarding to cashier for payment.
• preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss account and other statement whenever the concerned person is on leave.
• reconciliation of sundry creditors.
• supervising of all the work done by sr. accounts assistant.

• preparation of bank reconciliation statements.
• computation of turnover tax payable and en
