Job Description Montessori Companion & Mentor for ToddlerPosition: Montessori Teacher / Toddler CompanionTiming: 12:00 PM 7:00 PM (6 days a week)Contract Duration: Minimum 2 yearsLocation: [Home Location] + Travel as requiredStart Date: Immediately / As soon as possibleRole OverviewWe are looking for a warm, patient, emotionally intelligent, and professionally trained Montessori educator to act as a companion and developmental mentor for a 2.5-year-old child.The role includes supporting learning through Montessori techniques, social and emotional development, calm behaviour, active engagement, and age-appropriate skill building.The teacher should work in alignment with the Montessori curriculum followed at school and help reinforce the same at home through structured activities, routines, and guided play.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Responsibilities Supervise and mentor the child from 12 PM to 7 PM Support lunch time routines and encourage independent eating Conduct Montessori-based learning activities and skill-building exercises Teach and model emotional regulation, patience, calmness, kindness, and respectful communication Engage the child in reading, creative play, practical life activities, and indoor/outdoor learning environments Encourage developmental skills including motor development, language building, sensory exercises, social interaction, and self-discipline Take the child to extra-curricular classes and structured activities Maintain a consistent daily routine aligned with family & Montessori principles Collaborate with household staff (nurse, maid) as needed Strictly no screen timeBreak Time One-hour break during toddlers afternoon napTravel Must be flexible and available to travel domestically and internationally with the family when requiredSkills & Qualifications Certified Montessori teacher / Early Childhood Educator Minimum 3+ years of experience working with toddlers (preferably in a Montessori environment) Strong understanding of child development & behaviour management Warm, patient, calm, respectful communicator Ability to handle toddlers with kindness & positive reinforcement Energetic, creative, and proactive in planning activities Excellent English communication skills; additional languages beneficial Willingness to commit to a minimum 2-year contract Professional, trustworthy, and discreetImportant Requirements Alignment with Montessori principles Respect for family privacy and rules Ability to work with other support staff in a coordinated manner Flexible and adaptable personality Passionate about children and learningWork EnvironmentYou will work alongside: A full-time nurse A domestic helper/maidThis role is primarily focused on education, development, companionship, and emotional growth.Compensation Competitive and based on experience Travel allowance, accommodation & meals provided when travelling
