Job DescriptionA Software Tester is a crucial role within a software development team responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the required standards and specifications. The Software Tester plays a critical role in delivering high-quality software products that meet user expectations.Responsibilities :Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans and strategies.Create detailed and comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and software requirements. Define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure software quality. Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing as required.Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using issue-tracking tools. Clearly communicate defects to developers and work closely to ensure timely resolution.Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using appropriate testing tools. Automate repetitive test cases to improve testing efficiency.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer, preferably in a software development environment.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automation tools and frameworks Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Job Title: Non-func Tester (1 year contract) (ID1379)Location: Customer job siteWorking Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 6pmSalary: up to $8000Job Description Executing Testing lifecycle including Requirement Analysis, Identifying Test Scope, Designing Test cases, Executing Test cases, and tracking defects till closure Able to define and create test deliverables such as Test Cases and Test Data Experience or understanding of various test phases. Experience or understanding with Waterfall and Agile project models Plan and manage test environment and data Work on current generations latest hardware and one of the most advanced low latency applications for trading and clearing systems in the world. Exposure to functional and non-functional testing an invaluable skillset across many roles in any future or current career.Requirements: Degree in Business IT, Computing Science, Engineering or equivalent Non-Functional tester with minimum of 1-3 years experience in load, performance and failover testing or other testing that border the non-functional domain. Knowledge about transactional systems is preferable. Testing experience with ability to adopt best-practices. Familiar with the concept of APIs and tools leveraging on same. Experience or understanding of performance (load, throughput), unit and failover testing, measuring system utilisation, response times and latencies and collating results in graphical and presentable forms. Experience in command line operations and administration. Knowledge in Linux systems administration is a plus. Scripting or programming experience preferred. (Perl/Bash/Python) Ability to understand and create static and dynamic test data for System Performance, SIT and Regression Testing Can-do attitude with willingness to learn. Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally Analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Self-going but also able to collaborate.
