�Overview :� A CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) technician is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical devices to ensure they are safe for patient use. Their duties include operating sterilization equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining sterile environments to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

Key responsibilities

Decontamination and Cleaning: Removing visible soil, blood, and other debris from instruments using methods like jet washing and ultrasonic cleaners.

Assembly: Sorting and assembling instruments into correct sets and trays.

Sterilization: Operating and monitoring sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, to kill all microorganisms.

Packaging and Labeling: Packaging sterilized items properly and ensuring accurate labeling for tracking.

Distribution: Delivering sterile instruments and supplies to user departments like the operating room and emergency room.

JOB DESCRIPTION

PROFILE: ALL HEALTHCARE/MEDICAL INDUSTRY

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE
