Job DescriptionViewRay Systems is currently seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, who will share our passion for conquering cancer and help us innovate and develop novel cancer therapy systems. Responsibilities: Experience in Design and Development in embedded systems, Data acquisition systems. Develop high quality design requirements for electronic components. Work with the team, tech leads to understanding the project goals, architecture. Capture design ideas into schematics for variety of analog, data acquisition, digital interfaces, communication modules. Articulate out the mechanical and electrical design requirements for the artwork such that the PCB and more complex subassemblies perform adequately to meet the design requirements, safety requirements, etc. Lead PCB Artwork design projects Review the Medical device related safety standards, Derive the design requirements to meet the standard and test protocols to execute the demonstrate compliance. Perform design and risk analysis for a safe and reliable product. Perform hands-on activities such as prototype assembly, installation, and testing. Produce excellent design documentation describing design description, test methods, manufacturing and installation aspects of assemblies. Responsible for managing design files and materials in git. Provide technical support to internal/external design and manufacturing partners.Required Qualifications BSEE or other related degree with 6 years of experience. Able to quickly grasp user level or system requirements and translate into subsystem requirements and designs. Strong understanding of mixed signal circuit design and DSPs EMC compatible design experience Circuit design and simulation tool experience (i.e. Altium, spice, Matlab). Excellent Communication Skills to explain ideas. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work around strong magnetic field.Preferred Qualifications MSEE with 3 years of experience Experience designing to various standards under IEC 60601 (Medical Electrical Devices). Proven Analog design experience. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Electrical Design Engineers are professionals who have the ability to apply engineering principles, physics and materials science for the analysis, design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems.2. As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be required to survey and report on existing electrical installations and identify customer requirements if needed.3. Electrical Design Engineers create solutions, which can range from small component designs to large-scale systems. More commonly you would be working on security, alarm systems, lighting and HT, HV / LV systems.4. Provide detailed electrical design details for new and refurbishment projects with proper electrical system which may include Fire alarm system, TV, Parking system, access control, Single line diagram, Load calculation, DB Schedule, periodic site visits, as per requirement. 5. Design work should be carried in to 4 major stages i.e., concept stage, design stage, detail design stage, BOQ/ Estimation, Construction package.6. DBR and DPR generation need to prepare by Electrical engineer. Preparing product documentation, writing reports and specifications. This could also include the monitoring of a new product in use to improve on future designs.7. Maintain the Project summary report to avoid future problem related to project if it generated.8. Attending and conducting client meetings in order to clearly understand job/owner requirements and expectations. Includes, project review meetings, construction meetings, and project closeout meetings.9. Design electrical requirements for refrigeration systems, including loadings, infrastructure and systems.10. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation.

Job descriptionCandidates should be graduates in Electrical Engineering with 10 to 20 years Design experience in EPC industry, and should be familiar with Power Distribution Equipment, 3D Modelling, Layout Drawings and Design Calculations. Familiarity in ETAP is an added advantage.
