Urgent Requirement For Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design: Design internal and external electrical layouts, including High Voltage/Low Voltage (HV/LV) power distribution networks, sub-stations, transformer sizing, and DG (Diesel Generator) backup systems.

Lighting & ELV Design: Create comprehensive indoor/outdoor lighting layouts, lux level calculations, emergency lighting networks, and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems (including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, and data networks).

Engineering Calculations: Perform precise technical calculations for cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit analysis, capacitor bank requirements, and protective earthing/lightning protection networks.

Drafting & Schematics: Develop detailed 2D electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), power schematics, conduit routing layout plans, and panel schedules using AutoCAD.

BOQ & Tendering: Prepare comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ), detailed material specifications, cost estimations, and technical data sheets for vendor tendering and procurement.

Codes & Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering designs strictly conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC), National Building Code (NBC), Indian Electricity (IE) Rules, and local state electricity board regulations (., MSEDCL guidelines).

Site Coordination: Review shop drawings submitted by electrical contractors on-site, address technical queries (RFIs), and conduct periodic site inspections to ensure installation matches design specifications.
