- A VMC operator uses a Vertical Machining Center (VMC) to cut, shape, and form metal parts.- Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce metal parts according to specifications- Load and unload materials onto the machines- Set up and adjust machine tools as necessary- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machines- Ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Adhere to safety and quality standards- Set up and operate VMC machines according to established procedures and production schedules, including loading raw materials and tooling.- using hand tools in the manufacturing process.- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints / Drawing Reading.- Proficiency in operating VMC machines

Job Responsibilities:Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.Read and understand engineering drawings.Perform machine setting, tool changing and basic offset adjustments.Check dimensions using measuring instruments.Maintain quality and follow safety procedures.Ensure smooth machine operation and production targets.Requirements:1+ year experience as a VMC Operator.Knowledge of VMC machine operation and basic CNC concepts.Ability to read technical drawings.ITI / Diploma in Mechanical preferred.
