Daily Housekeeping OperationsSupervise and coordinate housekeeping staff (room boys, cleaners, laundry).Ensure daily cleaning of rooms, corridors, public areas, toilets, lobby, stairs.Make schedules, assign duties, check attendance.2. Quality & Cleanliness StandardsInspect rooms and areas after cleaning.Ensure beds, bathrooms, floor, dusting, linen change meet standards.Report any damage or maintenance issues to engineering team.3. Staff ManagementTrain new staff on cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment.Monitor performance, discipline, grooming and behavior.Handle shift roster, weekly off, replacements.4. Inventory & SuppliesMonitor stock of cleaning chemicals, linen, guest supplies.Raise requisition for shortage (towel, bedsheets, toiletries).Maintain storage room (storekeeping).5. Safety & HygieneEnsure staff follow safety while using chemicals / machines.Ensure biohazard disposal for sanitary trash.Follow COVID / hygiene protocols.6. Guest Service & Complaint HandlingAttend guest complaints regarding cleanliness.Respond immediately and follow-up till resolved.Maintain polite, helpful attitude with guests.7. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain checklists:Room cleaning checklistPublic area cleaning scheduleDeep cleaning calendarLaundry recordsReport daily status to Manager / Admin.8. Deep Cleaning & Special TasksPlan deep cleaning of rooms, carpets, kitchen, windows, upholstery.Coordinate pest control, spring cleaning, polishing.
