Job Purpose:The Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the operation of various systems, troubleshooting and fixing problems, providing technical support, and improving system processes.Responsibilities: 1. Assess, install, and maintain various types of equipment and machinery2. Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions3. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency4. Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.5. Analyse equipment performance data and make necessary adjustments or recommendations6. Write service reports and document all maintenance and repair work7. Manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed8. Provide training and guidance to other staff on equipment operation and maintenance9. Work closely with the design and production teams to improve product functionality and reliability10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environmentRequisite Skills: 1. Fabrication work on site, fitting & electrical works, cabling & wiring work, Compressor & blower works2. Entry-level Service Engineers typically have 1 to 2 years of experience, often gained through hands-on roles such as Maintenance Technician, Assistant Service Engineer, or Field Technician.3. Strong technical understanding and practical knowledge of the systems or equipment they are responsible for.4. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise during the operation of equipment or systems.5. Ability to provide clear explanations to clients about the functionality and maintenance of their equipment, utilizing exceptional communication skills.6. Detail-oriented nature to maintain accurate records of serviced equipment, parts inventory, and other related documentation.7. Time-management skills to efficiently schedule and manage service visits and tasks.8. Up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard.Desired Skills: Fabrication & Fitting work on site Electrical work, cabling & wiring work Compressor service, Blower service Reading Drawing Experience PLC (Program Logic Control)Education: Diploma Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineer preferred.Relevant Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Industrial area, preferably in the air filtration, dust collector, compressor & blower or related industry.
