Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Automation Engineer with 7-8 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems, with expertise in PLC programming, control panel design, and project lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer control systems for oil & gas projects Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell) Develop and review technical documentation including P&ID, cause and effect diagrams, and system architecture Design control panels (PLC/marshalling panels) and select appropriate components Create wiring diagrams and electrical schematics Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Manage full project lifecycle from design & engineering through execution, FAT/SAT, and commissioning Work with redundant PLC systems (hot standby, dual processor configurations) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Provide technical support during commissioning and operation phasesTechnical Requirements: Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical and instrumentation drawings Expertise in PLC/HMI/SCADA software platforms Strong MS Office skills for documentation and reporting Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems in hazardous areasProject Experience: Minimum 7 years in oil & gas industry projects Experience with control system design and implementation Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience focusing on mechanical structures and load-bearing elements, with specific knowledge of explosion-proof, fire-rated designs for offshore environments.Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze mechanical structures and load-bearing elements for offshore modular buildings Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC offshore project specifications and requirements Develop explosion-proof and fire-rated structural solutions for offshore applications Create modular building designs that are compatible with project specifications Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and design reports Review and approve structural designs from junior engineers Stay updated with industry standards and ADNOC specifications for offshore structuresTechnical Focus: This role focuses exclusively on mechanical structural design for offshore modular buildingsExpertise in using FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar tools.
