Responsibilities Estimates cost for engineering projects based on an analysis of project technicalrequirements. Collects and analyses all projects costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, andtooling to ensure estimates are accurate. Being a cost estimation engineer should identify and quantifies potential costuncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates cost as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Utilize cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages toprepare and maintain reliable and accurate data. Prepare cost break up for individual items taking into account base price and associatedoverheads to determine appropriate unitized cost for a product or product assemblies. To minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving therequired standards and qualityJob Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience. Hands on experience in costing projection and estimation for the project execution. Sound knowledge on construction techniques Experience in working for high value projects Basic knowledge on 3D Printing.
